In the first nine days of November, Bangladesh received remittances totaling 65.5 million US dollars, with a daily average of 72.8 million. This is a decline compared to October, which saw 73.98 million dollars in the same period. According to a recent Bangladesh Bank report, remittances in November came through various banks: 19.97 crore through state-owned banks, 3.15 crore through specialized banks, 42.19 crore via private banks, and 17 lakh through foreign sector banks. Between November 3-9, remittances amounted to 61.25 crore, with an additional 4.24 crore in the first three days.
