One Rapist Arrested in Savar Gang Rape of BUP Student, Two Remain Uncaught

Police have arrested one of the three men accused of gang-raping a BUP student in Savar earlier this week. The 22-year-old victim was attacked on her way home from private tuition on Tuesday evening. Authorities confirmed that the suspect was caught during a raid early Sunday in Dhaka’s Tejgaon area, while the other two suspects are still at large. Law enforcement is actively working to capture them as public outrage and protests intensify, with local groups calling for swift justice and stronger safety measures for women.
