Israeli attack hits Gaza hospital twice, leaving 20 dead including 5 journalists

Israel’s strike on Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis claimed the lives of at least 20 people, including five journalists from Reuters, AP, and Al Jazeera. A follow-up strike also hit medics and rescue workers who rushed to assist. This comes despite Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Sharren Haskel’s earlier claim: “We do not intentionally target civilians.” The killing of journalists working from the hospital roof, alongside over 240 Palestinian reporters killed since October 2023, exposes the contradiction in such statements.
