Gaza’s Health Ministry has reported that 250 Palestinians were killed in just 36 hours amid what it called “ethnic cleansing massacres” carried out by Israeli forces. The Director-General of the ministry accused Israel of intentionally targeting civilians, hospitals, and vital infrastructure using internationally prohibited weapons. These attacks, he said, have led to a surge in cases of fetal deformities and intensified an already severe humanitarian crisis. Hospitals such as Al-Awda and the Indonesian hospital are struggling to cope, as they face a dire shortage of essential medical supplies and staff. In addition to the collapsing healthcare system, the territory is also grappling with deteriorating clean water access and sanitation services. Gaza’s Civil Defense reported at least 50 additional deaths since midnight on Friday due to continuous Israeli airstrikes. Officials and humanitarian groups are urgently appealing for international intervention to stop the bombardment and provide immediate support to Gaza’s overwhelmed healthcare facilities.
