Israel bans flight crew from Bangladesh and 28 other Muslim-majority countries

Air France will comply with Israel’s restrictions barring pilots and cabin crew from 29 countries, including Bangladesh, Pakistan, Iran and Saudi Arabia, from operating flights to or over Israel. Issued on October 1, the rules also apply to dual nationals. The move follows an alleged September 30 incident involving an Omani co-pilot and an Indian captain aboard a Flydubai flight.
