A wedding ceremony in Uttar Pradesh’s Bijnor district turned chaotic after a dispute over chicken curry led to a brawl between members of the groom’s and bride’s sides.
According to local reports, the fight broke out when guests on the groom’s side complained about being served chicken curry without enough chicken pieces. The disagreement escalated into a violent clash, leaving several people injured and the wedding grounds in disarray.
Video footage from the scene showed guests throwing chairs and engaging in physical fights. After the situation worsened, police arrived to restore order. Wedding tents were reportedly torn down during the altercation.
Police confirmed that the altercation began over food-related issues but assured that peace had been restored. No formal complaint was filed as both families reached an understanding before police intervention.
