A 60-year-old Chinese woman, Zhong Juanjuan, has become a popular gaming livestreamer after taking up gaming in 2020 to better understand her son’s addiction. Known online as “Auntie Juan,” she started livestreaming in 2022 and has logged more than 8,000 hours of gameplay, mainly playing shooting games. Her popularity soared after she eliminated Russian esports star donk during a 2024 Counter-Strike exhibition match. She now has 527,000 followers, with her son working as her full-time agent.
