Australia has recently approved visas for over 98% of Bangladeshi student applicants, a rate higher than that of China and India. Data from May to July 2025 shows Bangladeshi students had a 98.17% approval rate, compared to 93.07% for China and 83.29% for India. Experts attribute this success to their low crime involvement and strong academic reputation. Student migration is also rising, with 7,800 Bangladeshis traveling to Australia between January and June 2025. Additionally, Australia plans to increase international student seats by 9% in 2026, prioritizing Southeast Asia, which may further benefit Bangladeshi students.
