The Bangladesh Investment Summit 2025, hosted by the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (Bida), is set to begin on Monday and will continue for four days. The event is expected to bring together more than 550 high-profile participants from over 50 countries. Executive Chairman Chowdhury Ashik Mahmud Bin Harun shared that preparations for the summit are nearly finalized. He also mentioned the possibility of a landmark agreement with NASA being signed during the event, along with several other Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and investment deals.
Throughout the summit, five awards will be handed out to honor outstanding contributions in various fields, including local and foreign investment, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives, and innovation. Additionally, a foreign investor will be granted honorary citizenship in recognition of their exceptional involvement in Bangladesh’s economic progress.
Due to venue capacity limitations, many local applicants were unable to secure registration, as priority was given to international participants and Non-Resident Bangladeshis (NRBs). To ensure broader access, the entire event will be streamed live on both Facebook and YouTube. A dedicated media corner will also be available at the venue for interviews with foreign investors, allowing the media to capture insights and reactions firsthand.
