On Friday (February 21), the official Facebook page of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bangladesh, stated, "It has come to our attention that some groups have misinterpreted an immediate walkout by certain delegates during the speech of the Israeli representative at the 4th Global Ministerial Conference on Road Safety, held on February 18, 2025, in Marrakesh, Morocco. We clarify that the Bangladesh delegation was among those who walked out."
They further emphasized, "Bangladesh's stance on the Palestinian cause, as well as the Israeli genocide and other oppressions against Palestinians, is well known. We urge everyone to refrain from spreading misinformation regarding this matter."
