Mohammad Nahid Hasan, a 17-year-old SSC candidate from Adamjee Cantonment School and College in Dhaka, tragically lost his life to a sudden heart attack on Sunday, May 4, just moments before he was set to leave home for his exam. Around 10 a.m., he began experiencing intense chest pain, prompting his family to rush him to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka. Despite efforts by doctors, Nahid passed away during treatment.
He was the only son of Md. Jasim Uddin, a respected union member from Gozaria in Munshiganj. Nahid’s unexpected and untimely death has left his parents devastated and cast a shadow of grief over the entire Guagachhia Union. His funeral prayers were held both in Dhaka Cantonment and in his hometown, after which he was laid to rest in the village graveyard.
