10-Year-Old Madrasah Student Found Dead in Rampura; Sexual Assault Suspected

Police recovered the body of 10-year-old madrasa student Abdullah from a third-floor bathroom at the Alokito Quran International Hifz Madrasa in Rampura’s Banasree, Dhaka, on Tuesday night. While no external injuries were found, police suspect sexual assault due to signs of trauma discovered during the initial inspection, pending an autopsy report. Suspicion has fallen on a 17-year-old student, Shihab, after classmates raised concerns about him; he reportedly left the madrasa on leave earlier that afternoon and is currently missing.
