Russell's viper, a highly venomous snake, has resurfaced significantly in Bangladesh since 2012, with initial sightings in the Barind area. The snake has now spread to 27 districts, particularly along the Padma river, according to the Venom Research Center. Researchers believe that favorable weather conditions have facilitated its spread across the country.
