A 55-member National Citizens' Committee has been established to focus on reforming and restructuring the state. The committee was announced Sunday (8 September) afternoon, during a rally at the Central Shaheed Minar. Nasir Uddin Patwari, a former student of the Marketing Department at Dhaka University and the Secretary of Research and Information for the AB Party, has been named the convener of the committee. The committee includes prominent figures such as Sanjida Islam Tuli, an organizer of Mother's Call; Dr. Tasnim Jara; journalist and doctor Tajnuva Zabeen; Sabhanaz Rashid Diya, Meta's Head of Public Policy in Bangladesh; researcher and writer Sarwar Tushar; content creator Salman Muqtadir; State Reform Movement member Pritam Das; and lawyer Monjur Al Motin. This diverse group of members brings together various professionals, activists, and influencers to work towards the goal of national reform.
