Bangladesh's readymade garment (RMG) exports to the EU reached $19.90 billion in July-April FY24, a 3.66% rise from the previous year, according to the Export Promotion Bureau. Exports to Spain, France, the Netherlands, Poland, and Denmark increased, while Italy and Germany saw declines. In the US, RMG exports fell by 1.90%, but the UK and Canada reported substantial growth. Non-traditional markets grew by 10% to $7.70 billion, with Japan, Australia, and South Korea showing positive trends. However, exports to India dropped significantly by 22.44% since August 2023.
