The HSC and equivalent examinations in Bangladesh will be conducted in a half-question and answer format, postponed by another two weeks from September 11. The decision was made at a meeting in the Ministry of Education, chaired by Wahiduddin Mahmud, Education Advisor of the interim government. The exam was postponed several times due to quota reform movements and student uprisings. The board had previously proposed to hold the postponed examinations from September 11. Examinees protested at the Dhaka Education Board, claiming they were not in a condition to sit for the exam and the results are to be declared based on the subjects in which the examination is completed.
