Motiur left the country after shaving his head

Matiur Rahman fled through the Akhaura landport on Sunday afternoon, according to numerous close customs officials. The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) established a three-member committee to investigate allegations of corruption and unlawful wealth accumulation against him earlier that day. On the same day, he was relieved of his duties as the President of the Customs, Excise, and VAT Appellate Tribunal and assigned to the Internal Resources Division of the Ministry of Finance as an Officer on Special Duty (OSD). Additionally, he was terminated from his role as a director of Sonali Bank.
