Man who beat a bus helper identity himself as a co-coordinator, is a Chhatra League worker

A video of Tausif Shakil, a student from Jagannath University, assaulting a bus assistant while claiming to be an assistant coordinator of the student movement, has gone viral. However, it has been confirmed that Shakil is not affiliated with the JnU unit of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement and is not mentioned in the 27-member coordination committee formed on July 29. Nur Nabi, a key coordinator of the JnU unit, stated that Shakil has always opposed the university's leaders and is now attempting to discredit the movement under various disguises. Shakil was previously the Chairman of the university's Uttaran Bus Committee.
