Professor Yunus gifted Trudeau an art book, The Art of Triumph, showcasing murals painted by students and youth before and after the revolution. Trudeau commended Yunus for his leadership and reaffirmed Canada's commitment to supporting Bangladesh’s institutional development. Yunus spoke about the damage inflicted on the nation's institutions by the previous regime and expressed gratitude for Canada’s friendship and support for the interim government. He also requested an increase in visas for Bangladeshi students.
