A case has been registered against former MP ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury, his son Faraz Karim Chowdhury, and 68 people from Raozan Chittagong, Bangladesh. The case was recorded at Raozan police station last Friday night. In 2019, the Muniriya Jubo Tabligh Committee in Bangladesh filed a case for vandalizing an office and looting goods worth crores of taka. The plaintiff, Muhammad Alauddin, told Prothom Alo that on April 30, 2019, the defendants demolished the office of their spiritual and tariqa-based organization, Muniriya Juba Tabligh Committee, and attempted to kill the members. All equipment, including 6 lakh cash, was looted from the office. Since then, members of the organization have not been allowed to stay in the area. Officer-in-Charge of Raozan Police Station, Zahid Hossain, confirmed the case and said efforts are underway to arrest the accused.
