Sarah Rahanuma, a 32-year-old newsroom editor for private television channel G-TV, was found floating in Hatirjheel Lake in the capital of Bangladesh. She was rescued and taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where she was declared dead by a doctor. A passerby named Md. Sagar saw the woman floating in the lake. Rahanuma's house is in Kalyanpur, and her father is Bakhtiar Shikder. Police camp in-charge Bachchu Mia confirmed the death and the body is in the morgue. Sarah Rahnuma made a Facebook post on Tuesday night, expressing her thoughts that it is better to die than to be alive. She also tagged a young man named Fahim Faisal and expressed her gratitude for having a friend like her. She also shared pictures of Dhaka University's Raju sculpture with a flag tied on her forehead.
