Bangladesh Bank (BB) has directed banks in key industrial areas, including Dhaka, Ashulia, Tongi, Gazipur, Savar, Bhaluka, and Narayanganj, to remain open on a limited basis on June 14, 15, and 16 to facilitate garment workers' salary and bonus payments before Eid-ul-Azha. This includes maintaining branches in Chattogram metropolitan and industrial zones for the same purpose and handling export bills. BB also emphasized ensuring adequate security at these branches in coordination with local authorities. Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated on June 17.
