Bangladesh safest country in the world: Rab DG

Md Harun-Ar-Rashid, Director General of Rab (Rapid Action Battalion), claimed that Bangladesh is currently the safest country globally, citing no known risks of militant attacks. He mentioned that they have no specific information on militant activities and asserted that the situation is largely under control. Harun emphasized Rab's capability in handling various situations, describing it as a modern and efficient force. He also acknowledged monitoring the activities of banned militant outfit Ansar Al Islam both physically and virtually. Harun reassured the public that extremism and militant groups would not resurge in Bangladesh under their vigilance.
