Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister, Obaidul Quader, announced on Saturday that party leaders and activists will gather in all wards of major cities and districts on Sunday. This announcement was made during a press briefing at the party president's office in Dhanmondi. Quader stated that on August 5, the Awami League will hold a mourning procession from the Engineers Institution to Bangabandhu Bhaban in Dhanmondi 32. Quader emphasized that killing children does not benefit the ruling party and suggested that those exploiting these deaths gain from it. He urged UNICEF to provide the names and addresses of the 32 children so the truth can be uncovered. He also highlighted the close relationship between BNP and Jamaat-Shibir, accusing them of engaging in the politics of dead bodies to incite chaos and sabotage.
