Following a surprising turn of events, seven students who initially failed their SSC and equivalent exams under the Jessore Education Board have now achieved the highest GPA-5 grade after contesting their results. The board revised the results, altering the grades of 281 students without re-evaluating the answer scripts but examining four specific aspects of the challenged papers. Bishwas Shahin Ahmed, the Controller of Examinations, admitted to the oversight by the examiners and expressed intentions to investigate the matter thoroughly. He mentioned the possibility of imposing penalties on the examiners involved and assured appropriate measures would be taken to prevent such incidents in the future.
