The Hindu Mahasabha has threatened to protest against the visiting Bangladesh team in Kanpur over allegations of violence against Hindus in Bangladesh. The two-match Test series and a three-game Twenty20 International series are scheduled to begin from September 19. Security concerns have become a concern for the Bangladesh team ahead of their tour of India. The Bangladesh Cricket Board CEO Nizamuddin Chowdhury has informed the Board of Control for Cricket in India about the situation and is mulling to change the venue of the match from Kanpur to Indore. The Kanpur Test between hosts India and Bangladesh is under security threat, and the BCCI is in talks with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on the issue. Bangladesh will head to India on the back of a historic 2-0 Test series win over Pakistan.
