Dr. Muhammad Yunus, the Chief Adviser, emphasized that the ongoing crisis in Palestine should be recognized as a humanitarian issue, not solely a matter concerning Arabs or Muslims. He made this statement during his speech at the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA), which took place in Hainan, China, on Thursday.
Dr. Yunus pointed out that, despite widespread international condemnation, the genocide in Gaza persists. He also addressed the wider geopolitical landscape, mentioning that the war in Ukraine is disrupting the global supply chain and highlighting the prolonged crisis in Myanmar, which continues to pose a significant threat to regional stability.
