A young man has died while reciting the Quran inside a mosque in Domar, Nilphamari. The incident occurred on Tuesday morning (April 22) at Jamirbari Patuaripara Jame Mosque after the Fajr prayer. The deceased, Saju Islam (22), was the son of Mominur Rahman from Jamirbari Patuaripara.
Imam Maulana Abdur Rakib of the mosque stated that Saju was reciting the Quran after Fajr when he suddenly collapsed and became unresponsive. It was later confirmed that he had passed away. The Imam described it as a fortunate death.
Domar Police Station's Officer-in-Charge, Md. Ariful Islam, told the media that it was a natural death, and the matter has been confirmed. Saju was buried at the family cemetery in Jamirbari Patuaripara after the funeral prayers at 2:30 PM on Tuesday.
