The World Bank is granting approximately 5 billion BDT for the training of primary school teachers. This funding will be allocated to the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education as part of initiatives by UNICEF and the Global Partnership for Education (GPE). The majority of this amount will be dedicated to teacher training programs. The first installment of the grant is set to be available in January next year, with most of the funds focused on training teachers. The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education has announced that the World Bank is providing a total of around 10 billion BDT through UNICEF's mediation, with 45% earmarked for the Ministry. A related workshop was conducted on Sunday, October 6, attended by the Ministry's Secretary, Farid Ahmed.
