Woman Who Participated in July Movement Receives Rape Threat in Bogura

In Bogra, a female coordinator of the anti-discrimination student movement received a rape threat via a note left on her balcony, discovered by her younger brother on December 25. The note contained derogatory remarks and warnings. Although the woman kept her identity confidential, it was confirmed she is from Shahjahanpur. Niyati Sarkar Nitu, another organizer, condemned the threats and demanded immediate action to ensure the participants' safety. The police assured a thorough investigation. Earlier, another coordinator, Ahsan Habib Sayem, was threatened with death through graffiti in Nawdapara.
