BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has voiced concerns about the interim government's credibility, stating that doubts are emerging regarding its effectiveness. Speaking at a discussion organized by the Bangladesh Sammilito Peshajibi Parishad (BSPP) on Tuesday (November 19) at the National Press Club, he emphasized the need for the government's success, as it aligns with the nation's success. He reiterated BNP's commitment to forming a national government if elected, including allies from the ongoing movement, and questioned the basis for skepticism. Fakhrul highlighted BNP's focus on restoring democracy, citing a 31-point reform proposal as part of their agenda. He criticized the interim government for lacking political experience, emphasizing that politics requires expertise, likening it to science. The BNP, he stressed, is pushing for swift elections not for power but to address the country’s pressing issues.
