Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus stated today that the government aims to make the upcoming general election in Bangladesh "the best ever and historic."
"We want to set a historical example," Yunus remarked during a meeting with Norwegian Ambassador to Bangladesh, Hakon Arald Gulbrandsen.
Yunus also urged Norway to consider using Bangladesh as a regional hub for distributing their products and to increase investment in the country.
"Utilize Bangladesh as a base for distributing Norwegian products across Asia. This way, you won't need to bring personnel from Norway and can instead employ our young workforce," he suggested.
