Unable to pay Rs 2,000 rent, a father lets his landlord to rape his wife and 13-year-old daughter in India regularly

A man in Morbi, Gujarat, allegedly allowed his landlord and the landlord’s relative to repeatedly assault his wife and 13-year-old daughter after he was unable to pay a monthly rent of ₹2,000. The incidents reportedly took place at multiple locations. On May 1, the victim’s mother filed a complaint under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the POCSO Act. The husband and the landlord have since been arrested and jailed, while the landlord’s relative is currently absconding.
