Two stabbed in Gulshan as robbers steal Tk 1.5 crore in cash and foreign currency

In Gulshan, two men were brutally injured and robbed of around 1.5 crore BDT in cash and foreign currency, including USD and Euros. The attack took place near the Gulshan-2 DCC market last night, when a red car with 4-5 assailants stopped their motorcycle. The attackers used rods and sharp weapons to assault Abdul Kader Shikdar (30) and Amir Hamza (25), then fled with $25,000, €20,000, and 8 million BDT in cash. Police are investigating the incident, reviewing CCTV footage, and have identified several suspects based on the victims' testimonies. Authorities have promised quick legal action against the perpetrators.
