The two brothers of Shaheed Abu Sayeed, a martyr of the anti-discrimination student movement, have resigned from positions offered by the Bashundhara Group. Abu Sayeed's brother, Abu Hossain, confirmed this on Wednesday (November 13) around 10 PM. Both brothers had notified the relevant authorities of their resignation on Tuesday through email and postal mail, citing personal reasons. Last month, on October 9, Bashundhara Group had appointed Ramzan Ali, Abu Sayeed’s brother, as Senior Executive at the Bangladesh Pratidin Rangpur Bureau Office, while his other brother, Abu Hossain, was made Senior Executive at the News 24 Rangpur Bureau Office.
