The Turkish government has announced that it will provide free medical treatment in Turkey for seven Bangladeshis injured during the student uprising in July. This decision comes after a request from Bangladesh's Ministry of Foreign Affairs for advanced medical assistance for those affected by the anti-discrimination movement. Following the establishment of the current interim government, Foreign Adviser Ambassador Md Touhid Hossain and Foreign Secretary Ambassador Md Jashim Uddin met with the Turkish ambassador to formally request specialized treatment for the injured. Moreover, on August 27, Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus spoke with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, expressing interest in Turkey’s collaboration with the interim government's reform efforts. In October, a Turkish government delegation visited Bangladesh from the 13th to the 15th to discuss potential cooperation in various sectors with Bangladeshi officials.
