On Tuesday, US President Donald Trump announced that he has canceled all meetings with Iranian officials in response to the ongoing violent crackdown on protesters, assuring Iranians that “help is on its way.”
Posting on Truth Social, Trump urged, “Iranian patriots, keep protesting—take over your institutions! Record the names of killers and abusers; they will face consequences.”
He added, “I have canceled all meetings with Iranian officials until the senseless killing of protesters stops. HELP IS ON ITS WAY. MIGA [Make Iran Great Again]!”
Earlier the same day, Iran International’s Editorial Board released a statement titled “The Killing of 12,000 Iranians Will Not Be Buried in Silence,” detailing findings on the recent crackdown and calling for documents and testimonies.
