Donald Trump has been projected to win the key battleground states of Georgia and North Carolina, narrowing Vice President Kamala Harris' paths to the 270 electoral votes needed to secure the presidency. Additionally, Republicans have gained control of the U.S. Senate after flipping Democratic seats in West Virginia and Ohio. However, control of the House remains with the Republicans, who hold a slim majority. The focus now shifts to the "Blue Wall" states, which were instrumental in Biden's 2020 victory, including a Democratic breakthrough in Georgia. Yet, Trump’s comeback in these areas poses a substantial challenge for the Democrats.
