Thieves mixed sedatives in tubewell water and robbed 5 houses in Sirajganj

In Shahjadpur, Sirajganj, five houses were robbed after thieves mixed anesthetic in the tubewell water. Five members of the same family fell ill during the incident in Palpara village of Ganadah union on Saturday night. The affected individuals are Asim Pal, Ashiq Pal, Supank Pal, Ram Prasad Pal, and Divas. Local residents allege that the thieves contaminated the tubewell water with anesthetic. As a result, the family members lost consciousness, allowing the thieves to steal valuables worth approximately 10 lakh rupees. Inspector Abu Said of Shahjadpur Police Station stated, "The family claims that the thieves took Tk 3 lakh in cash and around Tk 10 lakh in gold jewelry from the homes of the five brothers. Legal action is being prepared in response to this incident."
