A 19-year-old teenager named Osman Gani lost his life this afternoon in the Halishahar area of Chattogram after being struck by a private car while he was riding his bicycle near Silver Bells School. According to statements from both the police and local residents, the vehicle was driven by another teenage boy named Tanim, who is reportedly the son of the car’s owner. After the accident, Tanim was caught by locals and handed over to the police authorities. It remains unclear whether Tanim possessed a valid driving licence at the time of the incident. Osman Gani died instantly at the scene, and his body was subsequently taken to Chattogram Medical College Hospital for a post-mortem examination. A formal case has been filed regarding the accident, and the police have started a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragic event.
