Dhaka University hosted its first-ever Pet Carnival at the Teacher-Student Centre (TSC) on January 20, 2026, organized by DUCSU with support from the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock. The event brought together pet owners and visitors for a fun-filled afternoon, featuring a pet ramp show, cat contest, exhibitions, and interactive stalls. A highlight was a teenage girl walking her pet chicken on the ramp. With activities promoting animal welfare and responsible pet ownership, students and visitors enjoyed meeting pets, taking photos, and praised the carnival as an entertaining and meaningful campus event.
