Tasnim Jara, an independent candidate for the Dhaka-9 constituency, has been officially allotted the “football” symbol for the upcoming parliamentary election. She confirmed the news to the media after receiving the symbol from the returning officer’s office today.
Jara shared that in recent days she met with residents across Dhaka-9, including areas under Khilgaon, Sabujbagh, and Mugda police stations. Many had asked which symbol would appear on the ballot for her supporters, and with the official allocation, that question has now been answered.
She added that her election campaign will kick off tomorrow and requested the prayers and support of Dhaka-9 voters.
