Tarique Rahman gets back gulshan club membership

Tarique Rahman, the acting BNP chairman, has been reinstated as a member of the Gulshan Club after his membership was revoked during a secret meeting on December 22, 2023, which violated club regulations. Following this, the board, led by Barrister Sumaiya Aziz, formed a legal committee, which decided during the 14th board meeting on October 8 to restore Rahman’s membership. Barrister Aziz expressed regret over the prior unlawful actions and stressed the club’s commitment to protecting members' rights. She emphasized the importance of serving all members with integrity, describing the club as a family.
