On June 13, BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman and the Chief Adviser of the interim government, Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus, are expected to hold a meeting at a hotel in London. This arrangement was finalized during a virtual meeting of the BNP Standing Committee held on Monday night, June 9.
According to BNP leaders, while the meeting is officially being described as a courtesy call, the primary focus of their discussion will be the upcoming national election. Sources have further revealed that several election-related proposals have already been submitted to Tarique Rahman on behalf of the party in preparation for this meeting.
