Former Bangladesh captain Tamim Iqbal has been placed on life support after falling critically ill during a Dhaka Premier League (DPL) match at the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP). While fielding for Mohammedan against Shinepukur on Monday, Tamim experienced severe chest pain. He was given initial medical assistance at the ground, but as his condition worsened, he was rushed to a local hospital. His health continued to decline, leading to him being placed on life support.
