The Swedish Embassy in Dhaka has announced that it will handle Schengen visa applications for Belgium, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, and Sweden. Starting December 10, 2024, applicants must book appointments through VFS Global, with the system becoming mandatory from December 17. Walk-in applications will no longer be accepted, and all appointments must be booked individually. A service fee will apply, which is non-refundable if the appointment is missed or canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time. If your primary destination is one of these countries, you must book through VFS Global Sweden in Dhaka. For assistance, contact their helpline at (+88) 09606 777 333 or (+88) 09666 911 382 (Sunday to Thursday, 9 AM to 5 PM), or use their online contact form at [VFS Global Contact Form](https://vfsforms.mioot.com/forms/CFNC/).
