State Minister for Lands, Barrister Kaiser Kamal, paid a surprise visit to the Siddhirganj Union Land Office in Narayanganj this morning and was met with an unexpected situation—no officials were present at the office. He arrived at 9:10 am and, upon entering, noticed that the office was completely unattended.
The State Minister then sat on the balcony of the land office and waited for about half an hour, hoping that the officials would arrive. After finding no one present at the appointed time, he expressed his displeasure at the situation. He emphasized that such negligence is unacceptable and assured that strict action would be taken against those who shirk their responsibilities.
Barrister Kaiser Kamal also stressed that the government, elected by the people’s votes, is meant to serve the citizens, and any form of irregularity or corruption in this process will not be tolerated. He made it clear that accountability and proper conduct in public offices are crucial for ensuring effective governance.
