An SSC examinee was allegedly assaulted at an exam center in Bhandaria, Pirojpur after refusing to show his answer sheet during today’s Physics exam. The incident happened around 1 pm at Bhandaria Bandar Girls Secondary School center.
According to eyewitnesses, 17-year-old Md. Mahfuz Sadi was pressured by his classmate Shakib to show his answers. After Mahfuz refused, Shakib allegedly attacked him after the exam and punched him in the right eye, leaving him seriously injured. Mahfuz was later taken to Bhandaria Upazila Health Complex, where doctors said he is under observation and may require specialist treatment.
