Sonargaon’s 500-Year-Old Boro Sardar Bari Reportedly Damaged After Coke Studio Rented It for a Shoot

Parts of Sonargaon’s 500-year-old Boro Sardar Bari were reportedly damaged after the historic site was rented to Coke Studio for a filming project. The Local History, Heritage and Archaeological Resources Conservation Committee alleged that sections of the main structure collapsed while temporary installations were being removed after filming. The committee called for an investigation, expert-led restoration of the damaged areas, and stronger measures to protect the heritage site.
