Saudi Arabia is issuing 4,000 to 6,000 visas daily to Bangladeshi workers, a trend expected to continue, Gulf News reported on Tuesday, citing Bangladeshi sources. In November, Saudi authorities issued a record-breaking 83,000 labor visas to Bangladeshis—the highest ever in a single month. This surge aligns with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, which has ramped up large-scale projects requiring substantial labor forces. In preparation for events like the 2034 FIFA World Cup and the 2030 Riyadh Expo, Saudi Arabia is developing major infrastructure projects, including airports, railways, and stadiums. Additionally, as a goodwill gesture, Saudi Arabia has donated 372 tons of meat to Bangladesh for distribution among religious institutions, orphans, and underprivileged communities across 64 districts.
